Axi Select is a performance-based funding program that allows traders to grow from beginner to professional without paying any assessment fees. You start by trading your own small live account, and as you meet specific goals — including profit, drawdown, edge score, and consistency — Axi allocates more capital to you, eventually reaching up to $1,000,000.
To join Axi Select, you need to open a live trading account with Axi, deposit at least $500 USD, place 20 unique trades, and reach an Edge Score of 50. Once you’ve done that, you’re automatically enrolled into the Seed stage with an initial allocation of funded capital.
With Axi Select, you can trade a wide range of instruments including all forex pairs, major indices, gold, silver, UK and US oil, as well as selected cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. You can also trade top tech stocks such as Apple, Tesla, and Microsoft. While many instruments are available in your live account, only approved assets (like major FX, metals, oil, BTC, ETH, and key indices) count toward your funded progression. You can also use EAs on MT4 or MT5 to automate your strategy.
To move to the next stage, you must achieve a 7% profit, avoid exceeding a 10% drawdown, meet the minimum number of trades, stay in the stage for the required number of days, and maintain the target Edge Score. Each time you meet those requirements, you unlock more funding and move up.
The Edge Score is a proprietary metric used by Axi to measure your trading skill, consistency, and risk management. It’s calculated based on actual trading performance, not just profit, and it helps determine when you’re ready to progress to higher funding levels.
If you exceed the 10% drawdown limit on your funded allocation account, your account enters a cooldown or “quarantine” period where funding is paused and trades are closed. You’ll have the chance to requalify after meeting the criteria again. This does not apply during the Seed stage.
There is no time limit. You can stay in any stage as long as you need to. The only time-based rule is the minimum duration required in each stage before progressing — 30 days for Seed and 60 days for later stages. There’s no pressure to rush.
