The PZ Bollinger Trend EA automates trading based on the well-known Bollinger Bands logic, using signals derived from the Bollinger Trend Indicator to identify trends and trigger entries or exits. It supports a variety of trading styles—from trend continuation to mean-reversion—and offers extensive flexibility to match your trading preferences.
The EA implements four trading behaviors:
- Regular: Buy on bullish signals, sell on bearish ones.
- Inverse: Sell on bullish signals, buy on bearish ones.
- Only Buy: Enter only long trades.
- Only Sell: Enter only short trades.
Money management is equally flexible, allowing manual lotsize selection, fixed-risk per trade, martingale scaling after losses, or inverse martingale after wins. The EA ensures disciplined risk practices while accommodating growth-focused strategies.
In addition to price action logic, this EA includes a time filter system. You can restrict trading activity to specific forex sessions—Asian, European, or American—so your trades align with liquidity cycles or avoid volatility traps.
It also implements a mean-reversion safety check, giving you the option to exit trades if price crosses back to the Bollinger average—a feature that can prevent overextended losses during reversals.
